Medical Task Force at Lampedusa: NIHMP contribution

The Italian Minister of Health Hon. Ferruccio Fazio sent to Lampedusa a medical task force to evaluate the severe conditions experienced by the island and to identify appropriate interventions. The task force includes 3 members of the World Health Organisation (one environmental expert and one expert in water hygiene), three memberes of the Italian Ministry of Health and Dr. Tullio Prestileo, responsible of the Sicilian centre of the NIHMP.
