Last lesson of the Transcultural Mediation Course on "Migration and HIV/AIDS Prevention"

The last lesson of the Transcultural Mediation on "Migration and HIV/AIDS Prevention", organised within the framework of the AIDS&Mobility project, was held on 10 April 2010 at the NIHMP.

The seminar was an occasion for the future mediators and all the people involved in their training to meet and discuss. The following persons participated in the event: Prof. Aldo Morrone, NIHMP Director General, Dr. Ramazan Salman, AIDS&Mobility project manager and director of the Ethno-Medical Centre di Hannover, Dr. Vittorio Agnoletto, project advisor expert in the field of HIV/AIDS, Dr. Roberto Testa, NIHMP Medical Director, Dr. Ilaria Uccella, local coordinator of the project, Dr. Rowan Cody, representative of the ICMH in Geneva, internal evaluator of the project, the teachers and the tutors who followed the mediators' training.

The meeting, dedicated to the presentation of the community sessions on HIV/AIDS prevention that the transcultural mediators will carry out, was concluded with the certificate award ceremony for the 21 mediators who succesfully completed their training course.
