Gerardi - Film description
Country: Guatemala, 2010, 90 minutes, Production: Moralejas Films, V.O. Spanish; Italian subtitles.
The film is about the life and the activity of the bishop of the Quiché Diocese in Guatemala, massacred on 26 April 1998, two days after the publication of Guatemala, Never Again. The report indicates the Guatemalan army and government as responsible for genocide and “crimes against humanity” during the civil war (1960-1996).
