Ad hoc advisory group on reducing the risk of vulnerability of elderly migrants and improving their welfare

The Third Meeting Ad hoc advisory group on reducing the risk of vulnerability of elderly migrants and improving their welfare was held on 27-28 September 2010 at the Council of Europe - Strasbourg (Palais de l’Europe).
The meeting was organised in order to bring together the experts of the field for the discussion on improving the situation of elderly migrants. The group of experts has worked on finalising the draft recommendations on the elderly migration that will be later proposed for the EU adoption. Experts have also shared their experiences of caring for the elderly migrants and have discussed possible future projects. The agenda of the meeting included:
