A Project for Women - "Mi state a cuore": free prevention campaign for all women against breast and cervical cancer
The President of the Lazio Region, Renata Polverini, assigned her entertainment allowances to the prevention campaign against breast and cervical cancer named “mi state a cuore” (i.e. “I Have You at Heart”).
From December 21st, 2010 to January 6th, 2011 every woman can undergo FREE medical examinations in the itinerant campers of the region.
The campers will be in Rome and the provinces of the Lazio Region according to the following programme:
ROME
Galleria Commerciale Porta di Roma from 21 to 22 December - Via Alberto Lionello, 201
Centro Commerciale Parco Leonardo on Decmber 23rd and from 27 to 31 December – Fiumicino, Via Portuense
Centro Commerciale Roma Est from 2 to 6 January - Via Collatina
PROVINCES
Frosinone: from 21 to 23 December – Supermercati PAM - Via Armando Fabi, 177
Latina: from 27 to 28 December – Centro Commerciale Morbella – Via Picasso
Rieti: from 29 to 31 December – Centro Commerciale I Cubi – Villa Reatina, Via Alcide De Gasperi
Viterbo: from 2 to 6 January - Piazza del Plebiscito, 1

Project’s data: 500 medical examination were provided in Rome and almost 200 in Frosinone. In particular.
In the framework of “A Project for Women - Mi state a cuore", the NIHMP made a scientific publication edited by Aldo Morrone, Ottavio Latini and Paola Scardella. A part of the publication contains the list of services on the territory providing cancer prevention for women, family advice, gynaecological, social and health care services.
