XVII International Workshop “culture, health, migration” - Call for Poster
The organising secretariat of the XVII International Workshop “culture, health, migration” is glad to invite associations, organisations, university professors, operators and whoever is interested to submit a poster on Crossings: Languages and territories of a moving world.
Posters should be submitted by 30 September 2010, please include title, author/s and abstract of maximum 200 words.
The same author can participate in more than one poster if they deal with different projects.
Posters will be exhibited during the event at the workshop hall and will be presented on 15 October morning. Therefore, a speaker should be identified for each poster.
On 15 October morning, during the workshop, a prize will be awarded to the best poster, chosen among the most originals and those dealing with the most significant issues.
A paper and digital copy of all selected posters should be submitted.
A Power Point® or .JPEG copy of the poster should be sent to: schiaroli@inmp.it. Both Power Point® and .JPEG files size should be between 500KB and 8MB.
Each poster should indicate name and surname of authors, belonging institution, phone number, address and e-mail.
Each author is responsible for poster preparation and printing. No poster can be printed at the workshop hall.
Some advice on poster design:
- Chose a legible font (the most common are Arial e Times New Roman).
- Title font size: equal or bigger than 36 points.
- Write name and surname of the author/s, belonging institution and e-mail address under the title.
- Avoid long texts and small fonts. Font size should be around 24 points and no less than 18 points.
- A4 format copies (also in black and white) of each poster can be prepared and delivered to interested colleagues.
Paper copies of the posters should be sent the poster by carrier or registered mail with return receipt, or handed over to the Institute porter's lodge:
