TRAINING COURSES
The training courses included in the project “Social and clinical analysis aimed at facilitating prevention, diagnosis and follow-up of HIV/AIDS infections and coinfections in socially and economically disadvantaged groups” are about to start.
The general objective of this project is to promote the access to prevention, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of HIV/AIDS infections and coinfections among those population groups that are at risk of social exclusion. The activities are managed at the National level by the National Institute for Health, Migration and Poverty and are carried out by the Associations’ Council for AIDS Fight of the Minister of Labour, Health and Social Policies and the Council Departments of Health and Social Policies of 11 Regions.
The training provides lessons on specific issues, group works, case studies and micro-planning groups.
At the end of the training, participants will be asked to try to put into practice the acquired knowledge; their micro-planning will be monitored and then discussed during the following meetings.

• Naples, 3 and 4 June
• Lamezia Terme, 8 and 9 June, 14 October
• Florence 10 and 11 June
• Palermo 23 and 24 June
• Verona 25 June and 2 July
• Cagliari 28 and 29 June
• Turin 30 Junee 1 July
• Bari 6 and 7 July
• Ancona 8 and 9 July

OBJECTIVES OF THE TRAINING COURSES:
• Acquire in-depth knowledge on HAART therapy and study strategies aimed at facilitating therapy compliance;
• Develop knowledge on the rights of disadvantaged population groups and on their claiming;
• Develop knowledge on intervention and network project methodologies;
• Facilitate planning and implementation of multidisciplinary interventions
