FOCUS ON: “Skin Mycoses: immigration and climate change” - Registrations Open
The Focus on “Skin Mycoses: immigration and climate change” will be held on 3 December 2010 at the NIHMP Conference Hall.
SHOW THE PHOTO GALLERY OF THE EVENT
In recent years, the incidence of superficial skin mycoses has constantly increased in Europe. Undoubtedly, migration towards this continent has been one the main factors contributing to the diffusion of this phenomenon.
Italy in particular has been the destination of an ever-increasing number of migrants during the last decades, and is today among the countries registering the higher number of migrants.
This phenomenon remarkably influenced the clinical practice in the field of skin mycology, causing the observation of an ever-growing number of unusual clinical pictures and aetiological agents once considered rare at our latitudes.
The aim of the Congress is to update specialists on the epidemiology, pathogenesis, clinical manifestations and therapy of the most important skin mycoses.
