The NIHMP participates in the International Health Care Exhibition “Exposanità 2010” - Bologna 26-29 May 2010

The 17th edition of the International Health Care Exhibition EXPOSANITÀ will be held from 26 to 29 May 2010 in Bologna. The title of this year’s edition is “Health care and assistance: focusing on people’s needs” and it is dedicated to the importance of human beings in the health care system, a role not to be forgotten, even in period of economic crisis.

The National Institute for Health, Migration and Poverty – NIHMP will take part to the exhibition and will also organise, on 26 May, a meeting on cultural mediation.

Health care and assistance are today inseparable issues which, through suitable organisation and use of modern technologies, should guarantee to the population a sustainable health status consistent with their degree of social progress.

This is why EXPOSANITÀ is particularly interested in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment disciplines and technologies combining the hospital, coinceived as the place where acute and serious pathologies are treated, and the local health services which directly meet the needs of citizens.
