Migration Cinema
Film and documentary exhibition
The film and documentary exhibition “Cinema di Migrazione” (i.e. Migration Cinema) will be held from January to April 2011. The event was organised by the film culture association “Il Labirinto” and the Rome local government in collaboration with the NIHMP, Cinecittà Luce, Nuovo Cinema Aquila, Cineclub Kino, the Experimental Cinema Centre-Italian National Film Library and the CEMR.
The initiative aims at proposing a number of films and documentaries stimulating public’s reflection on migration and proposing a new approach to it.
Film projections will be held from 24 to 28 January at the Nuovo Cinema Aquila; from 3 February to 3 March (every Thursday) at the Cineclub Kino; and from 10 March to 7 April (every Thursday) at the Conference Hall of the NIHMP-San Gallicano Hospital.
