Film Festival at NIHMP

In the context of the initiative “Uno sguardo dal ponte” (Looking from the bridge), organized by Latium Region - Council Department for Culture, Entertainment / Performing Arts and Sport, and A.T.C.L. (Theatre Association among Latium Municipalities), a movie review dealing with issues related to the activity of NIHMP took place.
In the course of the years the Department has developed special attention to the reception of the people, and carried out health care services, scientific research and training and educational activities, always considering health promotion and culture as related themes.
Lifestyle, culture, job, education, income and social relations are the principal factors influencing health.
International epidemiological studies and our everyday experience show that culture is nowadays one of the more effective indicators of social inequalities in life quality and mortality.
NIHMP’s participation in the Latium Region event was particularly significant in offering to the society, and in particular to young people, the opportunity to know and appreciate cultural elements as a basis for health promotion.
