“Health in Sea” - Final event of the Project C.I.M.E.
The event “Salute in mare - Health in Sea” will be held on December 1st, 2010 in Mazara del Vallo, at the Council Chamber “23 marzo 1946”. The results and the information materials produced in the framework of the Multicultural Information Campaign for Seamen’s Health Education (Project C.I.M.E.) will be presented, namely Italian and English publications, brochures translated into six languages (including Arabic) and a DVD that explains, by using a simple and effective language, the importance for seamen of following a healthy lifestyle. The awareness raising project for the health protection of Italian, non-EU and neo-EU seamen was implemented by the NIHMP, National Institute for Health, Migration and Poverty in collaboration with the former Institute IPSEMA (today merged into the INAIL Institute) and co-financed by the Ministry of Labour and Social Policies.
