Final event of the project “Il Posto delle Storie”

A seminar on poverty and impoverishment will be held on 16 June 2011, at 9 am, at the NIHMP Conference Hall (Via di San Gallicano 25/A, Roma). It represents the final event of the research project "Il Posto delle Storie" (i.e. The place of stories), carried out by the study and low-threshold services centres of the Gruppo Abele association in collaboration with the NIHMP. On the occasion, a free publication will be distributed on "Impoverimento e povertà. Percorsi di vita e servizi a Roma e Torino" (i.e. Impoverishment and Poverty. Life experiences and services in Rome and Turin).

The event will be held on the occasion of the final meeting of the International Course of Transcultural Medicine on “Non-Conventional Poor People… in Conventional Poverty: New Opportunities to Face Housing Emergency” and will include debate and sharing of ideas on the impoverishment processes, poverty and the services committed with the assistance of marginalised people.
