Breaking the stereotype - From Orient and Occident to a mutual understanding of images

The Congress “Breaking the stereotype - From Orient and Occident to a mutual understanding of images” was held in Istanbul, at the Art Production Center, from 22 to 26 October 2010. After the success of the last edition held at the NIHMP on February 11, 2009 the exhibition Breaking the Stereotype will be repeated. Dr. Paola Scardella, Director of the NIHMP Health Promotion Unit, participated in the event with a speech on “Between North and South: overcoming the barriers”, it was also the occasion to present the book Lampedusa, gateway to Europe.
