Primary aim of this Symposium is to clarify all the aspects connected with our Wellbeing and Healthy, from the environment’ influences where we are living, to food we are consuming, textiles and leathers we are using to protect our body, and cosmetics we are applying on our skin for ameliorating our general aspect. Wellness represents a fundamental expectation and right of all peoples and, first of all, it is based on the possibility each of us have to live in an healthy and natural environment, eating natural and safe food.
As proclaimed Hippocrates some 2500 years ago “Let food be thy medicine and medicine thy food“ Thus, the Symposium will give proper room also to dietary and Cosmetic aspects in Alternative and Complementary Medicine, such as Chinese and Indian Ayurvedic Medicine. Moreover, a special Round Table will be dedicated to clarify the grey or overlapping areas developed among Drugs, Medical Devices, and Cosmetics with the aim to raise new rules. This Round Table will try to highlight all the problems concerning the activity performed by the new active chemical or biological compounds and by the innovative new carriers used for setting-up of Cosmetics, Drugs, and topical Medical Devices, trying also to elucidate the existing difference between the pharmacological and biological activity. Finally, we should like to involve all the participants not only in the scientific papers presented, but also in the different way of eating and drinking we have in Italy (West), compared with China (East). During the coffee breaks and branches available, all the Speakers and Participants will have the possibility to taste and appreciate the different drinking and eating specialties produced in the Lazio region.
Therefore, the idea of the Congress‘Board is to dedicate some hours to organize special testing of wine, coffee, and Chinese tea also. Experts of wine testing will explain the differences among, for example, a dry white high-quality wine or a muscatel one and how to select them. for different meals. The same will happen for a cup of coffee or tea.
In fact, different kind of wine, coffee or tea qualitatively different have different colour, taste and healthy activities.
