Prevention and Early Diagnosis of HIV and Epatitis B Infection

The round table on “Prevention and Early Diagnosis of HIV and Epatitis B Infection” promoted by the NIHMP was held on 26 October 2010, at the NIHMP Conference Hall.
The initiative aimed at raising awareness among the media and the public opinion on the importance of prevention in the fight against HIV and HBV infections. The meeting dealt with different subjects, such as clinical epidemiology, economic sustainability, public health and ethics. Prof. Aldo Morrone, NIHMP Director General, led the round table and made a speech on “Access to testing for immigrant populations”.
